In today’s fast-paced world, busy moms often find themselves juggling multiple responsibilities, from work to family commitments. When it comes to snack time, the challenge becomes even more daunting, especially for those with children who have food allergies. Finding quick, and allergy-friendly snacks can feel overwhelming. Fortunately, there are plenty of options that cater to various dietary needs without sacrificing convenience.
In this post, I'll list our personal favorite on the go snacks that are allergy friendly, besides the usual fruits and veggies.
I'd also like to take a moment to clarify allergy-friendly and allergen-free are different. So, for those of you new to this world, please be wary of wording companies use. Most companies do put allergen info in their FAQ section on their website or on the packaging of products. But simply put allergy-friendly usually means the product doesn't contain certain allergens in the product but is processed or manufactured in a facility that does, their cleaning processes vary but are most companies take it pretty seriously. But as always, I advise doing your own research with your kiddo's personal allergies in mind. Allergen-free usually means no allergens in the product or possible contamination through equipment used (i.e. the equipment isn't shared with other products that do use allergens).

1. Madegood crackers
. These crackers come in a couple of flavors and are a super easy on the go snack. we buy a box with 12 packs weekly, because they're one of my fav snacks too. you can buy them online or in some stores (we have them at our local target & whole foods), but I will also link them below, as we all know online shopping is easier than hauling kids through the store.
2. Serenity puffs
My toddler is addicted to these puffs still, he now calls them popcorn lol. They are allergy friendly and the company states their cleaning procedures on their website. Not all flavors are allergy friendly, but these are, Carrot Beet, Pumpkin Cinnamon, Broccoli Spinach, and Tomato Herb **the cheddar broccoli spinach flavor does contain milk !!. My kiddos fav are carrot and beet. They can be found on amazon below or in store, we see them at target and Albertsons locally, but every state is different.

3. Mission Meats Kids Beef Sticks, 100% Grass Fed
These are such an easy grab and go snack. These are individually wrapped, grass fed and have no fillers or hormones in them. These have 24 individually wrapped sticks.
4. Sweet Lorens breakfast biscuits
My kiddo and I both love these, I buy them in bulk from amazon using the subscribe and save thing. But I'm seeing them more and more in store as well. There're 3 biscuits in each wrapper (so plenty for my toddler and a mom tax) and there's 5 packs per box. They come in cinnamon sugar, chocolate and blueberry, all are super yummy, I would compare them to the Belevita biscuits seen in most stores but without the allergens.

5. Madegood cookies, granola bars & bites
They have a ton of flavors and are all super convenient. We personally get the cookies in bulk, so I always have a sweet treat handy for birthday parties and holidays and just as a bribery tool because let's be honest toddlers are often emotional terrorists. But I have bought the granolas many times as well and enjoyed them just as much. The bites come in strawberry, chocolate chip, trail mix, chocolate banana, and mixed berry. The granola bars come in choc. chip, mixed berry, birthday cake, vanilla drizzle, strawberry, chocolate banana, cookies and creme, and cookie crumble. The cookies come in snickerdoodle, choc chip, red velvet, double chocolate, and salted caramel. I see them sold in most stores, i.e. Walmart, target, Albertsons, amazon, etc., I personally just subscribe and save them through amazon.

6. Safe + Fair granola
Top 9 allergen free, and super yummy. It comes in multiple flavors and idk something about granola always makes me feel so healthy lol.
7. Yum earth
This variety pack of yum earth goodies covers all my Halloween swap, birthday candy, classroom treat bases. Top 9 allergen free and no artificial dyes to boot. It has sour littles, giggles, jelly beans, and chewy's.
8. Jackson's sweet Potato Chips
There are tons of brands to choose from of course, but these are my fav. They have a free from top 9 allergen statement on their website and the ingredients are so simple and clean. The sea salt ones are just 3 ingredients, salt, avocado oil, and sweet potatoes, and frankly that's hard to beat now n days. My fav is the jalapeno flavor personally, but they have multiple, all very delicious and toddler approved in my house. Linked below on amazon but also seen at Albertsons and Walmart locally and are ofc sold online through their website.

9. No whey pea not cups
Okay, here me out. I know it's like candy, but every Halloween and candy give out the Reeses peanut cups are everywhere and, most kids seem to be drawn to them allergy or not. These are a great treat to save for those special occasions so there never fully left out. The No Whey Pea Not Cups are filled with sunflowers and made with milkless chocolate. These are certified vegan, free of the top 9 allergens, and perfect allergy free snacks for the classic peanut butter cups.
10. Fit joy crackers
Because sometimes you just crave a regular ole cracker or need something to pair with a soup. These are allergy friendly and gluten and dairy free, even the cheesy flavor.
Conclusion
Finding allergy-friendly snacks that are both convenient and similar to what their peers are eating doesn’t have to be a challenge. With these ten options, busy moms can easily throw these snacks in a bag and hit the road.
Happy snacking!
