Toddler Friendly Easter Egg Hunt Finds (That Won't Drive You Nuts)

Easter egg hunts are a classic way to celebrate the holiday, but they can quickly become overwhelming when toddlers are involved. Toddlers have short attention spans, limited coordination, and can get frustrated easily. Add in the fact most eggs can only fit small choke-able pieces or candy and were quickly entering tantrum territory. The key to a successful Easter egg hunt with little ones is to keep it simple, safe, and fun. This post shares links to my favorite toddler friendly Easter egg hunt finds I found enjoyable for both kids and their adults, without the usual stress.
6- pack wooden egg shakers
Already egg shaped, no need to do anything but "hide"
Great introductory instrument for littles
Great for motor-skill development
your toddlers/babies can form a makeshift band together lol
suction cup bath toys in eggshell
I don't know about your toddlers, but my toddler is incessantly bored. These are still toys he's playing with almost a year later in and out of the tub, he even still plays with eggshell (makes a great bath cup to wash hair). Bonus points for how busy it kept him easter day outside while the adults had their own egg hunt.
It makes a great "golden egg" and can come with ocean animals or dinos

Ocean animals
Matching eggs (shapes)
These have been phenomenal for my toddler, he's shapes wiz and all I had to do was open the carton and throw them about the yard on easter morning.
Already egg shaped
Educational and fun
Comes with its own storage container for after easter daily clean ups
Chicken egg nesting doll stackers
I think any millennial parent can confirm, we all remember seeing or playing with Russian nesting dolls growing up. this is just a fun new twist, instead of creepy little baby doll faces they look like chicks and chickens and can even stack on top of each other.
Keep the Celebration Short and Sweet
We all know toddlers get tired quickly, so these keep the egg hunt brief, so we can all run to find a suitable snack to keep our toddlers from turning into tiny gremlins. Goodluck to all my fellow parents, may the odds be ever in your favor.
